Overview

Music production, podcasting and broadcasting with people aged 18-24 years in Northampton. Our peer-led offer, will be underpinned by community development values through our Rekordshop, delivering mentoring, ideas and skill sharing between artists across generations. Delivered through peer-led, strengths-based approach to increase happiness  and socio-emotional development. This will encompass:

  1. Building engagement and youth ownership of the RekordShop. Building online support for young people and connection with themusic community.
  2. Peer-led wellbeing support groups enable 18-24 years to support each other which is transferred into everyday life. Approach embedding The 10 Keys to happier living.
  3. Mentoring & Advocacy

Impact

Using WEMWBS 87% showed an improvement from baseline to completion/6 month review.

  • Average of IMPROVED  scores have increased from 46 to 57
  • Average of those with ALL scores have gone from 49 to 54
  • Average of those with declined scores have gone from 56 to 48
