We are Free2Talk CiC

Our vision is for children, young people and families who have experienced disadvantage to achieve their aspirations in communities they feel part of. Our Mission Statement is that

Free 2 Talk CIC will effectively support children, young people and families who have experienced disadvantage to achieve their aspirations in life. Communities will be supported to develop their strengths to care for their vulnerable members.

Free 2 Talk CIC is committed to tackling the growing inequality within our society. We believe in justice and opportunity for all. Free 2 Talk’s main aim is to enhance the welfare and lives of disadvantaged communities. Our ethos is to build sustainable communities by actively encouraging the participation and involvement of children, young people, parents and carers in our work and in their communities.

These staff pages are here to provide you with the information, guidance, policies, procedures and documents to fulfill your role with us.

Social Justice

We know the world is not an equal place and that the inequalities people face bring challenges, conflict and unhappiness.

Our work is about enabling people to overcome this, have their say on their rights in this world and being able to voice inequity and challenge oppression.

Co-Production

We strive to work with young people, their parents, carers and community as partners creating the programmes and projects we deliver.

We see this as more than feedback; we work towards listening to people, enabling them to achieve their aspirations in communities they belong to and feel proud of.

Informal Education

Our approaches to our delivery use informal education as a core value. We strive to provide information, guidance, advice and support through strengths based activities.

These should be educational, make a difference and enable people to move forward.

WE LOVE OUR STAFF

We want our staff to enjoy their jobs through being active in shaping their working environment, roles and leading their programmes through their strengths and shared joy with young people and communities.
