Free 2 Talk’s safety mapping uses trained youth workers with local knowledge to facilitate honest, small-group conversations with young people generating community intelligence that schools and statutory agencies rarely access.
Grounded in contextual safeguarding principles, the approach has now engaged over 580 young people across six Northamptonshire communities, surfacing real risks, informing targeted action, and amplifying young people’s voices in the decisions that affect them.
| Total young people engaged across all six areas: over 580 | Areas covered: Delapre & Far Cotton, Duston, Weston Favell, Woodvale, Kings Heath, Parker Academy (Daventry) |
